Ongoing Developments at the One Valley Gardens

08/26/23: Vegetables at the new garden at 8th & Gilmer have taken off, with the corn starting to tassel and the squash starting to develop. Unfortunately, neighborhood critters have found the sweet potato leaves to be a delicacy, so they have all disappeared. Hopefully, they will leave the other stuff alone.

Meanwhile at the Carver Garden, Veronica and Deneen continue to clear morning glories, while Rev.Carter and Eddy cleared the brish behind the brick house, and Amazetta and Pat continued the harvesting of tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. Our produce stand has also been moved back inside the fence to make it more usable.
