Prepping for the New Planting Season

03/22/25: Most of this month was spent pulling old vegetable stalks, trimming native plants in our fence border, reshaping beds, reworking pathways to minimize areas to weed or mow, and starting to plant some of the early hardy root vegetables, like carrots, beets, turnips and radishes, and early greens, such as lettuce, kale, cabbage and napa cabbage.
