The Carver Garden has its first round of spring greens planted in raised beds.
Our volunteers continue to clean fall beds and to plant more spring greens at the 8th & Gilmer garden.
This year, we will be installing two low tunnels at the 8th 7 Gilmer site to help protect some of our early plantings, the first of which is shown below. We have also started turning on sections of our drip irrigation system, hoping our frost-free days have begun. The tall grass shown is part of the rye and clover cover crop that had been planted on bare areas last fall.
